Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor'

Beautiful color!  Growing in sandy soil over clay, in full sun.

Pups remain fairly close to the plant and side shoots are getting crowded.

This plant is about six years old.

Ferocactus johnstonianus

Picked up this gem at the last SDCSS sale.  It has beautiful yellow spines that glow in the morning and late afternoon sun.

Does well with lots of water during the warm months, allowing the soil to completely dry in between waterings.  No winter water.

Likes full sun and gritty, well draining soil.
