I have finally embraced the fact that Southern California is dry/semi-arid. This has opened the door to interesting landscape possibilities and plant discoveries. My favorites are succulents and sub-tropical natives. These are my ramblings as I explore my new obsessions!
Thanks Marla! This species is a little hard to find, especially the first one, but always seem to make a showing at the annual C/S Society sale. I love A. cristatus too! Hope to add that one to my collection. There are a few cultivars of A. cristatus that are interesting!
What amazing plants! I have an A. cristatus, but it's a shy wallflower compared to these stunners!
